As most of our products are perishable in nature, we maintain strict quality controls at every stage—from sourcing, packaging, and storage to dispatch.

This Refund & Return Policy outlines the conditions, eligibility criteria, and process for return, replacement, or refund of orders placed with us.

1. No Return Policy for Perishable Goods

Due to the highly perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns once the order has been delivered to the customer or their authorized representative.

However, we understand that issues may arise due to transit damage or quality deviation, and we are committed to resolving such cases fairly.

2. Eligibility for Replacement / Refund

You may be eligible for a replacement or refund under the following circumstances:

a) Damaged or Defective Product

If the product arrives:

  • Physically damaged
  • Spoiled / contaminated
  • Leaking or tampered
  • Incorrect item delivered

b) Quality Not as Committed

If the delivered product significantly differs from:

  • Specifications shared
  • Grade / size / quality committed
  • Packaging standard committed

c) Short Shipment

If the shipment received is:

  • Partially delivered
  • Quantities received are less than invoiced

3. Conditions for Claim

To process your claim smoothly, please ensure the following:

  • You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery along with evidence.

Proofs required:

  • Clear photos and videos of the parcel, packaging, label, and product
  • AWB / Delivery receipt
  • Batch label / packaging seal if applicable
  • Product must be unused and in its original packaging.
  • Claims beyond 24 hours of delivery will not be accepted.

4. Non-Eligible Scenarios

A return/replacement/refund request will not be accepted if:

  • The product quality deterioration occurred due to improper storage after delivery.
  • The product was opened, handled improperly, or used.
  • Incorrect shipping address was provided by the customer.
  • Delay in delivery is caused by customs hold, natural calamities, or events beyond our control.
  • The request is raised after the 24-hour window.

5. Refund / Replacement Procedure

Step 1: Raise a Request

Include:

  • Order ID / Invoice No.
  • Photos & videos of the issue
  • Description of the problem

Step 2: Verification

Our team will:

  • Evaluate the evidence
  • Coordinate with QA & logistics teams
  • Determine eligibility as per policy

Step 3: Resolution

If approved, we will offer any one of the following:

  • Replacement of the product
  • Partial refund
  • Full refund (in rare cases of severe damage or incorrect shipment)
  • Credit notes for future purchase
  • Refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment within 7–14 working days.

6. International Shipments (Exports)

For export orders, the following applies:

  • Responsibility of LALITA DEVI GLOBAL EXIM PRIVATE LIMITED ends upon handover of goods as per the agreed Incoterms (FOB/FCA/CIF etc.)
  • Damage caused post-handover falls under carrier or consignee/buyer responsibility, unless evidence proves pre-dispatch quality issues.

Buyers are advised to:

  • Arrange suitable transit insurance
  • Follow proper handling & storage guidelines.

7. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update or modify this policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

8. Shipping Returns

You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

9. Force Majeure / Exceptional Circumstances

We are not liable for any delays in processing returns, exchanges, or refunds caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or disruptions in transport or payment systems.

10. Governing Law

This Refund and Return policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and other applicable laws. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kanpur.
